Freshness Guaranteed

At TotallyLusciousCakes, all our cupcakes and cakes are freshly baked just for you, without the use or aid of preservatives and stabilisers. We want to offer you the best!

Our cakes are meant to be eaten as soon as possbile. But if you want to keep them, we recommend storing them in containers.

While refrigeration can extent the shelf life of the cakes, it may dry them up, and this is especially so for our cholocate cakes.



Organic Ingredients

We have several cupcakes and cakes that use selected organic ingredients such as jams, berries, pure essential oils, vanilla seeds from their pods, etc. If you would like yours to have as much organic ingredients, please call us and discuss.



Your Health Is Important

We do not use synthetic flavours, and would instead try our best to use fresh fruits and juices, naturally flavoured oils, jams and fresh vanilla pods.


As much as possible, our premium cupcakes and specialty cakes avoid the use of food colouring, with some exceptions (i.e. bespoked cakes and children celebratory cakes). Highly decorative cakes would have some degree of permmitted food colourings.

We do not use raw egg whites or yokes in any of our cupcakes, cakes or frosting. There is no fear of egg-associated salmonellosis, so our creations are safe for pregnant women, lactating mothers and children.

In doubt, please ask when ordering and make the neceesary dietary request suitable for yourselves.



Types of Frosting

* Butter cream or Chocolate Ganached Frosted Cakes

Cakes that are meant to be eaten soon or within 3 days from collection, are best stored at room temperature in a cool and dry place.


If cakes are chilled, please remove from refrigerator at least 20 mins before eating. Chilled cakes may be kept for up to 5 days or longer.




* Cream Cheese / Fresh Whipped Cream Frosted Cakes

If cakes are not eaten within the day of collection or delivery, they should be chilled and removed from fridge at least 20mins before eating.
Chilled cakes should be best eaten within 5 days from collection.




* Fondant Topped Cakes


No refrigeration is required.
But if the weather turns wet and humid, the fondant maybe inclined to 'sweat' and we would advise that the fondant topped cakes be stored in an air-conditioned or cool and dry room.




* Royal-icing Topped Cakes


Like fondant, these should be kept in a cool and dry room. Avoid putting the cakes in the refridgerator, as they would attract condensation and moisture, which would soften them and disintergrate the decorations and frostings.



* Meringue topped Cakes

No refrigeration is required. Such cakes are recommended to be kept in a cool and dry place, if possible. Humidity may make the frosting look different and 'soften' baked meringue especially. Nonetheless, such meringue topped cakes are safe for consumption.
